Mary first appears in the 1841 census living with her grandparents, John and Hannah Frarer (Fraser) Workington, Cumberland – her name is misspelled Salsbury. Mary always lives with her grandfather until she marries. In 1851 they spelled her name Sailsbury and her Grandfather as Frazer. She marries Rees Rees in 1857 in Workington, Has two daughters Rachel (my ggm) and Hannah. Mary remarries twice, Robert Fitton and John Parkinson. She dies sometime after 1901 – listed in 1901 census as Mary Parkinson – Barrow in Furness. Her daughter Rachel is in service – Mary and Rachel’s daughter live in the gate house – Rachel marries – David Hope and with Mirabell her daughter emigrate to the US 1906. Mary not with them. I have not found a death certificate for Mary.
