OK - I think we are still talking about the same family. The Jonathan Matthew I mentioned was the son of a Jonathan Salisbury/Salsberry who was first married to Nancy Cotton and they had 4 children. Evidently Nancy died in late 1860's & then he married Catharine True Redden (or Redding). She was either a widow or divorced. It appears she & Jonathan had 4 children, James, John, Daniel & Thomas. Right now I am not sure who the parents of other than Daniel & Mary Dagon/Dagin Salisbury. Their names appear on 3 of their childrens death certificates from Missouri. Evidently there are a couple of Daniel & Mary Salisbury couples so there is still some research going on.
