Dear Anna (Munoz):

Did you ever make your trip down to the Santo Petronella Cemetery to photograph the sites of the graves for our mutual ancestor's, Jose Miguel Salinas and his wife Maria Gertrudis De La Garza-Falcon. Oh, how I do hope that you have. Anna, Michael Salinas, of Houston, my 4th cousin, also has asked that question tambien. Also, is Santo Petrnonella located in Matamoras or Brownsville? Also, I have in my archives a copy of the deed where Jose Miguel and Maria Gertrudis sold their 12.55 acres to that S.O.B., Charles Stillman...the last remnant of the massive Colonial Spanish Land Grant (284,000 acres) of the fabled "Espirity Santo" grant, a.k.a. "Rancho Viejo)., dated 1848.
