I have an Salinas inquiry for you, please.

My Great-grandfather was an Eliseo Salinas, born 1887, and married to Maria Guadalupe De La Luz Cuellar-Salinas, born 1898.

They alway's spoke of a Brownsville Salinas who posted a "Salinas Manifesto" all over Brownsville and was murdered for his effort's by Stillman's hired henchmen. It happened between 1848-1853 and his manifesto was regarding the Army's taking away his part of what I believe was the Santa Gertrudis? Mexican land grant

Are you aware of any of this? Do you have any knowledge of this unknown (to me) man or incident? I thank you and I remain,

Verle E. Wenneker Cuellar-Salinas-WennekeVEWenneker@AOL.com
