Hello, My Dear Relatives. I am the great-grandson of Bernabe and Felicitas Cuellar, immigrated from Villagran, Tamilipas, Mexico, on 15 March, 1916.
One of their daughter's, Maria Guadalupe De La Luz Cuellar-Salinas is my Grandmother. She and her husband Eliseo Salinas Sr., owned the "Del Sur" resturant in Pharr from 1938 to 1995, it having been passed on to my Uncle Eliseo "Cheyo" Salinas and his wife, Juana Alicia Flores-Salinas, in 1963.
Bernabe and Felicita went to Pharr, first, to join their still unmarried sister Mariana Cuellar.
Does anyone have knowledge of that sister, Mariana Cuellar?
Does anyone have knowledge of Bernabe and Felicitas...who later moved onto Texas City? I thank you, "Butch"
