I am seeking information on my father's lineage. I have gotten back to BENJAMIN F. SAILES, born abt 1823 in TN m. SARAH TAYLOR, born abt 1849 in KY. I have them married in Louisville, Jefferson, KY in Apr 1857. They had Jasper, Carrie, Bettie, Nathaniel, and Rhoda E. I have all children but Rhoda E. being born in KY. Rhoda was born in MO. Jasper was my great-grandfather. His dob is 30 NOV 1860; dod was 14 Sept 1933. Both are buried near Knobel in Clay County, AR. He was married to Melissa Elizabeth Pitcock and they had Elbert Eugene, Cora, unnamed child, unnamed child, Mary Louella, Claud, Charles Burl (my grandfather who married Ethelene Wilson Sallings), Alonzo, and Lena Mae. All were born in MO. My father was Weldon Henry Sailes born in Poplar Bluff, MO. His mother and father were divorced in 1918 after Charles left her with two small children.
I would greatly appreciate any information from the decendants of any of the above persons. Thanks in advance.
