Hi, Kimberly --

The only children I know of for Gov. William SAYLE are the ones I mentioned in my previous post, Nathaniel, Thomas & James. I don't know about a daughter named Elizabeth (or any dau.) or a son named William -- doesn't mean they didn't exist, just that I don't know about them if they did. I've never done anymore searching for info on Gov. William or his children because the info I have that SEEMS to be a probable fit has to do with the William SALE family of Essex/Caroline Counties, VA. The branch of the family that I think may link with my later SAYLEs moved to NC. That William SALE, as far as I know, was from Fareham Parish, Hampshire, England. If there's a connection between him and Gov. William SAYLE, I haven't seen it. I believe, but haven't been able to prove yet, that my Thomas S. SAYLE family (much later in TN & TX) came from the William SALE family from England who lived in Essex Co, VA. Sorry I couldn't help you! Good luck!
