A distant relative of ours died not too long ago. As she had no children, the various articles from her home were spread out among the family. We received all the genealogical information, most of whichl concern the family of her late husband, Harry W. Sale. We would like to see these articles go to a Sale family member and are in search of anyone interested.
His name was Harry W. Sale and he was born May 4, 1903 near Wheaton, Kansas. His parents were Charles and Mary (Green) Sale of Kansas. (Charles may have been an immigrant from England as there are several letters from close relatives from that country.) Harry graduated from Wheaton High School in 1922 and Concordia Business College in 1925. He married Helen Opal Wilkerson in Topeka, Kansas, on June 16, 1934. He died on July 1, 1977 in Allience, Nebraska.
We have photos (various years), yearbooks (1920s), diplomas (1920s), and letters (1915-1923) from relatives in England: cousins Agnes Smith, E (Ebeneezer?) Smith, Hannah (Hill) Waterer, and Uncle Thomas Smith.
