No, I don't believe the Leonard Sale on the 1810 Logan co Ky Census is your Leonard Sale either. This Leonard might be the father of a number of Sales on the 1850 Todd Co Ky Census: Rowland Sale 39 yrs b c1811 Ky.Teacher, Willis Sale 34 b. c 1816 Ky. M.D., Leroy Pope Sale 42 b. c 1808 Ky. M.D., Elizabeth Sale 30 b. c 1820 Ky. Assuming that they may be siblings, their father would have been around 25 yrs old in 1810. One source says Dr. LeRoy P. Sale was previously from Logan Co Ky.and Todd Co was formed from Logan. My James Sayles, who I believe is your Leonard's brother, is thought to have been in Ky. before going to Sangamon Co. Il. Think there could be a connection.
There is a Ben Bagby 20 yrs b. Ky pg 284b on the 1850 Todd Co Ky Census Household # 526. Gideon Grigsby # 527 is family of Cynthia Grigsby who married Powhattan Leonard Sale, son of Rowland Sale.That may be of interest.
