Sale - Old Grave Found today! Amherst VA

First..I am not in the "Sale" family. I am just posting this info her in case someone is interested in it.
My husband works for a company that cut's trees/brush on AEP right-of-ways and found this old grave. Does not appear to have been a cemetery. There was just the one single grave by it's self.

Here is the info that if printed on the stone:

G. S. Sale
Feb. 4, 1823 - Sept. 10, 1904
Confederate Soldier
"How many hopes lie buried here"

This grave is located in Amherst County VA
Wares Gap Road (unpaved road) off of Rt. 635)
Grave is about 11 paces off the road right at an AEP (Power company)pole. (The poles are numbered).. Pole # 1016-64

That's about all I could tell about it... hope this helps someone with their geneology searching!
