In my earlier post, I neglected to mention one other thing. You show just two sons for the immigrant William Sale (Anthony and Cornelius). Based on the records of Essex County, however, I think that the chances are very good that he also had a son William Sale Jr. This William was not his oldest son, as Cornelius fell heir to the immigrant's substantial real estate holdings, but if this younger William I'm referring to was not the son of the immigrant, I don't know where he could fit in.
