You have given me a lot of helpful information, which I appreciate greatly. Thank you for straightening out the spelling of Goalder, etc. I have three questions you may be able to help me with.
1. Who was the Catherine Broaddus who married Wm. Dandridge Puller? Was she actually a Broaddus or was she the widow of a Broaddus?
2. Was James Puller, the son of Thomas and Sally, the same James Puller who married Mary (Polly)Broaddus, daughter of John? I have John B. (married Elizabeth Sale), Harriet Elizabeth (married John Broaddus) and Martha, just as you do. In addition to these, I have Parkinson, James and Ellen. Obviously, the ones you named are correct, since they are named in the will. But were any of those I have listed children who died before the will was made? Or was Ellen the middle name of Martha E.? I have not researched these but accepted the names as given by Andrew Broaddus in his family history.
