Any SAYLE/S names in your book?

Jeff, I have SAYLE ancestors, the latest being my gg grandmother, Mary SAYLE, daughter of Thomas S. SAYLE who was a son of William Ervin/Erwin SAYLE. By the time my Thomas S. SAYLE was alive, they were in Kentucky and Tennessee and Thomas later moved to n.e. Texas. Thomas had a cousin who was referred to as "Dr. Sam SAYLE," who I think maybe the Dr. Samuel G. SAYLE who married Olivia Wakefield KING. I've begun to think that my SAYLE family may connect with the William/Cornelius SALE families of VA and NC. Surnames related to my particular SAYLE branch are HAYNES, LAURENCE/LAWRENCE, and probably AMIS. Can you provide any clues? I'd appreciate any help. I have further information on Thomas and his family and I'm happy to share anything that might be of interest or help. Thanks!
