Terry,

I haven't found John N. Sale in my research thus far; but my information starts with Capt. Robert Sale of Caroline County. As a suggestion, you might look at King and Queen County for the origin of John N. Sale. Some of the Sales lived in that county and the location would be closer to Mathews County. Also the marriage to Martha Robins Coleman suggests a King and Queen connection.
