Hannah & Elizabeth Sale of Victor, NY
Posted by: Jeff Johnson Date: May 31, 2000 at 20:26:43

Hannah and Elizabeth Sale are reported to have married John and Jacob Cronk respectively. My GGGrandmother, Catharine Cronk, died in Kent County Michigan and on her death records her Mother and Father are listed as Hannah and Jacob Cronk from New York. This contradicts what has been reported and appears to document that Hannah Sale married Jacob Cronk. Does anyone know where the original information of Hannah marrying John came from? Were Hannah and Elizabeth sisters that married the two brothers John and Jacob? As was often the case back in this period was there a Hannah Elizabeth and Elizabeth Hannah Sale??? Any one have any knowledge of these family members and their marriages circa 1800?
