Cornelius Sale, Amherst Co. VA, 1800s
Posted by: Terry Date: March 05, 2000 at 15:16:53

What was the relationship between Cornelius Sale of Amherst Co. VA in the early 1800s and the family of Benjamin Carpenter of Thrasher's Creek, Amherst Co. VA? Cornelius Sale appeared as a bondsman with Benjamin's descendants several times, was co-executor of Benjamin's will, and one of the grandsons of Benjamin was named Cornelius Sale Carpenter. A close relationship of some sort is indicated. If you know how they were connected, please post a reply here or e-mail me.

Thanks in advance,
