I found interest in your message as I've just come into information connecting the Sale line with one of ours. You mention William Henderson Sparks and Mary Jane Sale Sparks. Their son, Harrison Lane Sparks, married Delphia Gracy, daughter of Joseph G Gracy and Hannah Caroline Redding. The marriage took place at Bay Center, WA where Harrison was teaching school. The elder Sparks family followed to the NW and lived there about 2 years before returning to Missouri. I have a very nice article written by their daughter Ida Sparks Venter (Fred W.) who also taught in Oysterville and Bay Center. If you would like a copy of this article, would be glad to share. Will share any other information.
