I'm a descendant of the first Salcedo family (3 brothers) that arrived from Spain to the Dominican Republic (D.R.) many generations ago. There is a city in D.R. named after our family and every person who bears our last name is somehow related to the three brothers who settled in different parts of the island. I'm glad to see that our last name can be found in so many different countries. I'd love to learn more about the Salcedo roots and history.
