i noticed that most of the salcedo's in this forum are from south america or at least spanish. But i'd just like you to know that there are alo salcedo families here in the philippines. Me, personally, came from the salcedo family in Camarines Sur, Bicol. Our family says that we came from Juan de Salcedo, a Spanish nephew of Miguel Lopez de Legaspi. They are the ones who considered as the conquerors of the Philippines. The conquer Philippines to be a colony of Spain. About how i loo, well, i lood typically Filipino but it's obvious that i have some characteristics of Spanish. Even my relatives as well. They say that Juan de Salcedo beared a child from a female aborigine (black people in Philippines) in Bicol and it was the start of the Salcedo family here. Im not sure if this is a myth but somehow, i tend to believe.
