I'm looking for any information about the Sala family from (Bohemia) now the Czech Republic. When the family moved to the US (Iowa) in 1857 the spelling of the name was changed from Sala with an mark over the first 'a' to Shalla. Would love to talk to anyone with a possible connection to this family.
