Douglas,
Although I can't tell you who Christians
Parents were, I do know my Ancestor
Jacob Sain Sinift was born in 1799,
Maryland, probably Washington County,
where the Senft/Senift/Sinniff/Sinift
family was living in 1790.
Information I have read, ndicates Jacob
Senift Sr B abt. 1776, married Catherine
Sain (daughter of Philip Sain) and the
couple in 1799, had Jacob Sain Senift. the Senifts and other families some being
the Kinnards/Kennards, Househlders moved before 1805 to the
Fairfield Co., Ohio,to an area that later became Perry County, Ohio, they had more children and lived their lives there. I suspect Christian was the nephew of Jacob and Catherine Sain Senift. The Senft family was originally
from York, Pa., and Jacob Sr is believed
to be the son of Philip and Magdelena Senft, Philip Senft being the son of
Johan Phillip and Anna Mary Bens Senft.

h
Catherine Sain Senift. Do you know what
the middle initial K. stands for ??
