My ggrandfathers name was Charles Clay Sain. He was married to Laura Williams Sain. They had 4 children that I am aware of: Legal Tender Sain, Olice C. Sain, Charles(Chas)E. Sain, and Sister Captola Sain. I know that Olice C. Sain did not have any children. My grandfather, Charles E. Sain was married to Rosa Margaret Kluemper Sain. They had 5 children: Joe Edward Sain, William Charles(Bill)(could have been Charles William ?), Rosa Marie Sain, Thomas Clay Sain (played football for the Ar Razorbacks in 1964 & 1965), and Laura Ann Sain(the only one still living, my mother).
I also know that Charles Clay Sain was a brother to Johnny Sain's(the famous baseball player) father.
If anyone has any information on this family I would greatly appreciate it. I would love to be able to trace the family all the way back to Scotland/Ireland, however long it will take.
