Looking for inf on William R. SAILORS (1882-1963), son of John Walker SAILORS and Perline HARRINGTON. Evidently William was married three times and had numerous children in several states --
1st wife ____, m. ca 1898 (the 1930 census says William married for the first time at age 16). Children:
a. Lucious F. b. 1899 GA and d. 1938 NC. Married twice
b. Barney M. b. 1901 GA and d. 1968 GA. Married twice
c. Luther Allen b. 1906 GA and d. 1981 GA. Married his step-sister Hattie ___, probably in NC
2nd wife Lula Mae (HOOD) ELAM, m. 1910 in Winston Co. AL. She was the widow of John Nathaniel ELAM. Children:
a. Hubert Roscoe b. 1911 AL and d. 1998 AL. Married twice
b. Lola Curtis b. 1914 AL and d. 1993 AL. Married William Henry PARTRIDGE
c. Edna Lucille b. 1917 AL and d. 1936 AL. Never married.
3rd wife Georgia Carolina (VANDERFORD) (--) DUTTON. She had been married to ___ (3 children) and George W. DUTTON (3 children). Children:
a. John Walker b. ca 1922 GA
b. William Guy b. 1924 NC and d. 1989 GA
