Thank you for posting your Sailors research. Yesterday I went to the Mt.Zion Baptist Church cemetery, Highway 5, at the Douglas/Carroll County line and found Andrew and Joanna Moore Sailors.
She was Joanna Elizabeth Moore Sailors, often spelled Joan in various census records and on her stone. Per her death certificate, she died 10, October 1945. Andrew died 1946 in Carroll County. I thought Uncle Andy was the son of Michael J and Adeline. Thank you for clearing that up as I do not have his death certificate.
I am not certain just when they left Hall Co for Carroll Co but they resided Five Notches Rd in the County Line District of Carroll Co for many years.
I am still looking for the burial place of Michael J and ADeline.
I have also been desperately searching for information about Joanna Moore's parents- if you come across any information, please do let me know. On her d.c., her Mom is Jane Hamilton b.SC and her father listed simply as "Joe"
Moore.
