Hello Mr. Sagel !
Nice to meet you at the forum!
I think it is difficult to explain the figure because in the heraldic there are not really laws and rules. So maybe there is no reason for the symboles in it. Otherwise maybe the 3 stars are standing for 3-family-tribes (one catholic, one protestant, one jewish tribe or one in Westphalia and one in Hessen and one ?). The 8 parts of the stars maybe also 8-tribes of the 3 big tribes. The man with the scythe must be standing for the farmer-tradition, or also for the marshall of the court. The big Y is a shaft-bar and also standing for farming. Maybe it is also a symbol for 3 tribes. But nobody will knows it. Itīs to far away and maybe just the impressions of the drawer and the founder of it. But if you know something more: Tell me!
Good bye. Martin Sagel, Kerpen
