In the 1880 census of Stanly Co. NC Paul and Margaret Safley are listed with three children:
1. Larah age 8 dau
2. Junies B. age 6 son
3. James F. age 4 son
There is a Laura J. Safley age 18 daughter of Paul and Margaret who married James R. MOSS age 20 on 29 Sep 1891 Volume II page 130 of Stanly Co. Marriage by C. H. Brooks, JP. James' parents were A. S. and Elizabeth Moss. Didn't find either of the sons listed.
Do you have the parents of Paul and Margaret?
