Can you help me with the parents of Nicey Safley born 1816-7 in NC? She married Calvin Carter 08 Oct 1840 probably in Montgomery Co. before it became Stanly Co. I wonder if her parents are David Safley and Rebecca (Morris?) who were living in Stanly Co. in 1850 at the same time the Carters were there.
Nicey is my 3gt grandmother. Have a lot on her family.
