I saw what you posted and find very interesting. I have copy of this "VIRGINA MARRIAGES EARLY -1800. Catherine(abt 1756) m Mathias Will The SETTLEMENT OF JOSEPH SIEVELY 1785 has To CATHERINE- Daughter, Wife of MATHIAS WILL, 27lbs,2shil,10 pence I wonder if after the girl child was born that is when Catherine died in child birth. I have book title " SHENANDOAH VALLEY FAMILY DATA 1799-1813" by Pastor Johannes Braun Translated and Annotated by Klaus Wust Pg 21 Confirminds Emanuel church, November 1812 Daniel Will Sara Will Pg 40 Marriages perormed by th Rev. Johannes Braum 1800-1813 15 June 1813 Isaac Lang to Catherine Will. The Rockingham County Minute Book 1778-82 (p. 802, 27 Oct 1788) states that George Sivley base born child of COTHET WILL, late Siveley, be bound to Jacob Bowman according to law. Two years later, (p. 869, 22 Feb 1790) George Siveley, base born child of Catherine Siveley, is bound to MATHIAS WILL according to law. I think the two George are two differant children. Curt I related to a Jacob Bowman too but not the one in Court records. In Shenandoah Co. Va there were three Jacob Bowman and not sure if one them when to Rockingham or stay in Shenandoah and the county line moved. here is my web page www.geocities.com/janet_ariciu janet
