Edmond Saffold was really Emmanuel Saffold, the son of Drury and Martha Saffold of Tallapoosa Co AL. In the 1850 census he is shown in Drury's household as Mauly. I have a fair amount of information on Drury. You should also check out the Saffold Family Society website.
