pre-WWI Russian cities that no longer exist.

I am seeking any information outside of the usual ship manifests and WWI draft records for the following Sadowski's:Walter, Helen (Kowalski), Jozefa (Dobies), Anthony, Bronislaus, Bronislawa, Leckadia, Marian, Jan, Stanistawa, and /or Zygmund; all children of Leonard and Franciszka (Gawik) from the Rosziszewa/Rosziszewo region of Russia/Poland. Rosziszewa no longer exists as it was probably incorporated into Poland after the war. I am 99% sure that any of these children that immigrated here settled in the Cheektowaga/Sloan district of Buffalo, NY in between 1890 and 1925.
Bronislaus Sadowski was my grandfather, but died at age 36 from T.B. and left little to trace to his parents.
The biggest piece of the puzzle is what happened to the old Russian city of Rosziszewa. If I can get that piece of info. then the search can be focused. Thank you.
