You had emailed me in regards to Evan Allan Sadler who married Catherine Ross and had moved to Powell River, British Columbia.

..I remember my father (now deceased) telling me that Evan emigrated to British Columbia and that he married a lady of German origin. This is now confirmed by your research informtion. My Grandfather was Walter Sadler and Evan was the younger brother born 1868 at Overton on the Welsh English border not far from Wrexam (North Wales). As I remember by father said they lost contact with Evan in the late 40's early 50's.
My objective is to find if Evan and Catherine had children and if the Sadler family is still going strong. (This I believe is also your objective). I located the Powell River area on the internet and came up with the addresses for four Sadlers in the area. I have written to them to see if they are related and asking if they know of Evan and Catherine. I will let you know the results. I think the idea of a 2002 reunion is a great idea.

ps. Yes, the family is still in Powell River and going strong......but, there are also family members now in Ireland and England again.
