Looking for family of James Carroll SADLER and Efella DURHAM. mar. 7 Jan. 1873 in Sumner Co. Tenn. died in Texas. James and Effie had ten children: 1. Mollie b. 1873 mar a TUTT 2. Florence b. 1875 mar. a HILL 3. Robert b.1877 died young. 4. Mattie b. 1879 died young. 5. Lula diedyoung. 6. Virginia Texas b.1885 mar. Noah DODSON 7. Sarah mar. Joseph Madison DODSON 8. James William drowned after he was grown. 9. Vada May b. 1894 mar. 1.Odell JENKINS 2.LeRoy WHITLEY 10. a twin to Vada Ada Clay died young. Parents and family were living in Tex. when they died some of the children ( Virginia, Sally, James, and Vada were put on a train and sent back to Tenn. around 1898. Their Grandmother Mary A. Durham was appointed their guardian.
