I have a cousin named Jimmy Sackfield, son of John and Jenny Sackfield, both deceased. He had 9 brothers and sisters. His grandparents were my grandparents, Evan and Sarah (Williams) Sackfield. Evan was born in Iowa and was a coal miner and trapper. Evan and Sarah had 10 children also, two of whom were my father, Emmitt and Jimmy's father, John. Jimmy came once to visit me in Coos Bay, OR when we were both young marrieds and we showed off our baby daughters to each other.
