Harve Christian Sachau and Alice emigrated to Spearfish SD community in about 1934 and continued a life of farming. I met Wesley in summer school at Black Hills College in 1948 and we married that fall in October. We quit college and Wesley worked for the Homestake Sawmill for several years before becoming administrator for the local National Guard unit in Spearfish.
