Sabin Family Genealogy Forum

None of these are closely related to my Sabin family who migrated from CT to NY to Naperville, DuPage Co, IL in 1833, but I thought this might be of help to someone else. This site was posted on my DuPage County mailing list. It appears to be northeast Illinois counties of Kane, Cook, McHenry, and includes cemetery tombstone photos of an Edwin Gerome Sabin and family, a C. S. Sabin in a school group photo (he was the teacher), and some lists of teachers, including an Elias Sabin and Henry Sabin.
If you go to this site and search SABIN you'll find all:

I hope you find something interesting! BTW, there was a John Sabin who was in Naperville and then in Glen Ellyn, IL in the mid 1800's. He's not closely related, either (lots of Sabins "went west". I know that he was a shoe maker.
