MRS. WILLIAM (FANNIE SAATHOFF) MEISENHELDER
OCTOBER 22, 1909
On Wednesday morning, October 20, at eleven o'clock occurred the death of Mrs. William Meisenhelder at her home in the southeast part of this city.
Fannie Saathoff was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Saathoff, and was born in Howerfehn, Amt Aurich, Ostfriesland, Germany, April 26, 1863. She was baptized when a girl and later confirmed in the Lutheran church.She came to America with her parents in 1872 and they came directly to Chatsworth, where they made their home. On March 1, 1882 she was united in marriage with William Meisenhelder, who preceded her in death several years ago.
Deceased is survived by nine children, as follows: Mrs. H. Gerdes, Mrs. Louis Bork, Charles, Geroge, Henry, Minnie, William, Freddie and Katie. She also leaved her aged mother, on brother, Henry Saathoff, of Waukegan, two half-sisters and three half-brothers, who reside in the west.
The funeral services were held this morning at the Lutheran church, Rev. Koepp officiating, and the remains were interred in the Chatsworth cemetery.
