Albert Saalfield was founder of Saalfield Publishing Co. and 2 0f his 3 sons Albert and Art continued to work for the company. Robert decided not to join the family business andworked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. His wife Margeret's father, Henry Manton was one of the founders and the original corporate treasurer of Goodyear. My grandparents had 4 children, Robert, Jr., Henry M., Margaret, and John. Robert, Jr. and Betty had 4 children- Robert S. III now of St. Simons Island, Ga. who has 2 daughters, Betty Kipp Kinard of Summersville SC who has 2 sons, Windley Cordon Putnam of Dublin, OH, who has a son and a daughter, and me.
