Thank you very much for the information. I am hoping that with the info. I learn about Helen Iona will lead me to any info. about her husband and his family. She married a Gloss who doesn't seem to have left any trail as to who his parents were.
On a side note, my brother-in-law was named after John Henry Vixley Ryerse. :)
