Wanted to post Update; it turns out the James A. Carberry born in MA in July of 1887 is not the son of my Joseph A. Carberry. My Joseph A. Carberry had a son named James Thomas Carberry(Cabery) born in March of 1887. Though given that James A. Carberry named a son Joseph Augustine Carberry and my Joseph A. Carberry also named one of his sons Joseph Augustine Carberry I suspect that they are related; I know my Joseph A. Carberry had a brother named James; and on further inspection of JAMES A. CARBERRY's birth record it shows his parents to be James Carberry (of IRE) and wife Bridget. So I have updated my trees on ancestry as well to reflect this and have connected the James who married Alice M. Ryan as a cousin to my James Thomas Carberry who married Agusta in NY.
If I find further evidence that James A. Carberry is not a relation to my Carberry family (which I doubt he isn't) I will post another update.
