INTERESTED IN WILLIAM JOHN RYAN OR WILLIAM RYAN. IN MOBILE, ALABAMA AT START OF THE CIVIL WAR. HE WAS APPROX 18-22 YEARS OLD THEN. HE MET AND MARRIED ANNIE CULLEN IN MOBILE AND ENTERED THE SERVICE IN MOBILE AT THE START OF THE CIVIL WAR AND WAS SENT TO MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA. HE HAD BEEN ATTENDED THE MOBILE MEDICAL COLLEGE AND IT CLOSED WHEN THE CIVIL WAR STARTED. HE IS MY GREAT GRANDFATHER. NO INFORMATION ON PARENTS AND ETC. CAME FROM IRELAND AS A VERY YOUNG LAD. HE AND HIS WIFE ARE BURIED IN MONTGOMERY, ALABAMA.

I HAVE NOT DONE ANY RECENT GENEALOGY,
