John J Ryan Springfield, MA d. 1923

Looking to identify the parents of John J. Ryan d. 11 Nov 1923 Springfield, MA husband of Maggie Murphy and parents of Maggie, Emma, Louise, Ella and Hattie.

John's obit says was 69 yo, born in "Roden, Quebec," and has a brother Jeremiah living in Canada.

Pall bearers at he funeral include Jeremiah, George, and Walter Ryan. (Pall bearers were likely sons of Michael Ryan b. 1858 in Rawdon, Quebec. Michael and boys are listed in Hampden MA in the 1900 census. I believe Michael was in the 1881 census with his father Michael in Montcalm, St Patrick in Rawdon, Quebec.
I'm thinking that Michael and John J, Ryan are brothers along with Jeremiah. In the 1861 census Michael (the father) has sons Michael b. abt 1847, Jeremiah b. abt 1861, and John b. 1849...again in 1871 John is listed as being 22 (b. abt 1849)

Can this be the correct family when census reports have John b. in 1849, but the obit saying 1856? So much of this fits John J into the St. Alphonse, Rawdon, Quebec family (and the 100 yo granddaughter relates the family came from St. Alphose, Rawdon), but I'm a bit uncomfortable with as much as a 7 year difference in birth dates.
I'd appreciate any thoughts.
Many thanks,
Jane
