Would be interested in sharing Ryan family history with descendants of Thomas Michael Ryan and Alice B. O'Brien (b.1794), who had nine children, all born at Cappaghwhite. One son,Private Jeremiah (Jerry) Ryan, Company G, Fifth Minnesota Regiment of Veteran Volunteers, 2nd Brigade, 1st Division, 16th Army Corps, was mortallly wounded and died in the Battle of Nashville, TN, December 16, 1864. He was in the infantry and was buried in the Nashville National Cemetery at Madison TN.
