Am looking for more information on George Ryan, 1803-1890, m. Nellie Hassett, 1812-1880. Looking for George's parents, brothers, sister.
George and Nellie had
Francis, b. 1837 (m. Margaret)
Michael, b. 1839
James, b. 1842 (m. Delia b. 1848)
Bridget, b. 1843 (m. a Murphy)
John, b. 1845 (m. Ellen b. 1848)
Daniel, b. 1846
Mary Hanora, b. 1850 (m. David Shannon, b. 1843)
Catherine, b. 1852 in NY (siblings born in Ireland)
Mary Hanora Ryan may have come to the US in 1852, age 2. Her husband, David Shannon, was a butcher by trade in NY, as was their son David. There are Grahams and Smiths that married into the Shannon family.
My connection would be to Nora and her father George.
