My great grandfather was Thomas Edgar Rutledge. Not sure when he came to Texas, however, I believe he came from somewhere in South Carolina. I've just started researching & would welcome any information you may have. His son's name (my grandfather) was Wilmer Ray Rutledge, and my Fathers name is Thomas Alva Rutledge, all from Childress Texas.
