You have certainly done an excellent job, in putting your Archibald RUTHERFORD, b ca 1754/55 VA., "On The Ground".
Archibald RUTHERFORD, VA Line:Revolutionary War Pension W8571
and
Julius RUTHERFORD, VA Line: Revolutionary War Pension R9113
Are "Proven" to be brothers, by the 4th July 1818 application of Julius RUTHERFORD, for a Revolutionary War Pension, in Anderson Co., TN., in which he deposed that he was a brother of Archibald RUTHERFORD, of Kentucky, who also served in the Revolutionary War.
Their Father:
William RUTHERFORD, was a Tithable of Botetourt Co., VA in 1771.
and
Served as a member of a Grand Jury held in Fincastle Co., VA the 3rd of May 1774.
NOTE:Fincastle Co., VA was formed in 1772 from Botetourt Co., VA., and was discontinued in 1777.
