Come on Ron. We need your intelligence. Please stay.
What Chuck says is right. I am no authority on Rutherford by any means. I can't get past James 1791 born Virginia and died in Jackson Co Ala 1860.
Being now quite old and having researchd Rutherford since age 17 I am leery of anything that says documented. Many in DAR and SAR got there by hook or crook back in the bad old days.Even these lines can not be trusted.
We have torn one SAR's records to pieces by trying to find just how he got in. He is long dead.
His descendents still use flawed material he made up.
He happened to be a descentant of James also.
In helping to transcribe old letters and books we had others double check to make sure we had transcribed it right. We still may have made mistakes.
When we transcribed KRD letters they were very hard to read when he wrote in longhand,we looked forward to the ones he typed.
Gary I think a truce would be welcome to everyone here.
Don't be so uptight, relax,it is only genealogy.
Our lives do not depend on it.
Remember true Rutherfords had a great sense of humor to go with their awesome pride.
