Carlos, Thanks for your reply. My James was born about 1755 and I think this is pretty close as he died June 16, 1725 in North Codorus Township, York County, Pa. His wife’s name was Catharine (last name unknown),children were Samuel b: Apr.22, 1788, Rosina born about 1789 in Lancaster Co. Pa. He and Catharine moved to York Co. about 1800 and had Polly, John, Becky, Elizabeth, Jacob, Catherine. My line is James, Samuel, Adam, Obediah, Joseph, Joseph W. W., and Larry, my husband. For your James to be mine he would have to have had a son James and my James would be about the right age. I know that my James is of German decent as there are five generations that lived in the York, Pa area that were all German. and James was as well. We also have a very old German Bible. Their religion was called Reformed and that also carries back five generations. Do you know whether your descendants had an Irish accent? Did you know your grandfather and g.grandfather? I have researched in New Castle but didn't have enough time there to do very much. I know the names are very similar to mine. The names are also very similar with the Peter Ruth family in Berks Co. Pa. If you want more of my family I can mail them to you. Let me know, my email is jlruth@earthlink.net Thanks Again for answering, look forward to hearing from you again. Joyce
