Who were Asel's parents? What was the name of his first wife and his children by both the first wife and his 2nd wife, Deborah (BLAIR) PYLES. Asel is in Washington co PA in the 1820 census, probably with wife #1. He married Deborah about 1825 and I believe is found in the Ohio co VA 1830 census, under Asa RUTH. Asa and Deborah are in Richhill Twp, Greene co PA in 1840 and and 1850 and Deborah is in the 1860 census there. Known children were Thomas and John, probably by Deborah and Rachel RUTH by wife #1. Another possible son is the William RUTH who married Hannah JOB on 14 Sep 1826 in Ohio co VA and can be found in Marshall co VA in the 1840 and 1850 censuses, that I have checked so far. Does anyone have any of these people in their data. Thanks for any help with his collateral family.
