edward magnus MEYER is my half 2nd grt granduncle. he was born in 1818 manchester england and was jewish before converting to christianity before moving to st petersburg russia.
he married caroline henrietta KRAFFT in 1848 st petersburg.
he died in 1889 and she died in 1904. caroline was born 10 feb 1829(not sure where)
their daughter paulina helen was born 17 june 1849 in st petersburg died 1876(dont know where)
she married Theodor heinrich(henry) SCHWARTZ/SCHWARZ. i would like to know for certain which surname he is.
they married in 1868 and had 6 children from 1868 to 1874
their first, luise(female) married a fritz JUNKER? (not sure on surname but defenitly fritz)they married in 1889.
2nd valerie Vally born 1869 died 1900 married georges de WORANOFF in 1894 and had maria in 1895 who died in 1910.
i dont know where any of these were born or died whether in russia or germany.
Alfred SCHWARZ(b 1870?) married alma GULSCHON in 1896 and had 9 children from 1896 and 1912(last one born ernst SCHWARZ in 1912)
Emilie MEYER b 1853 married adolf ROTHERMUNDT an art collector(sugar refinery owner in St petersburg) had 7 children. they lived at the now mendelssohn allee 34 music school in dresden germany in the 1890's onwards
their son adolf jnr married nadja VALINSKI from finland. they had 4 children
1. Tamara b 1905 married in 1930 to albert arthur VON FREYMANN and moved to baden baden in 1967
2. Boris
3. Xenia
4. RUDOLF b 1913 was living in retirement home in Hannover
i would like to know when they were born and if anyone can find out anymore on them.
