Thank you so much for your "lead"!
It has been such a long time that I have been waiting for any kind of lead. The problem often is the name of the villages in Russia - spelled so differently all the time. The village we have is called Wohldemfuerst, in the Kuban, which apparently translates into "Welicochiaschescoje" - and I suppose "Welikoknjaschesk", Kuban, as you indicate, which is so close that it has to be the same name... There is a very good chance that the photo is the farm of my great Grandfather, Heinrich UnRuh. He was quite a wealthy horse trader at the time. Thanks again. This is a big find.
Cheers, I hope that your search for your ancestors goes very well! Best wishes, J. Blais-Benoit.
